The online Directory of Incentives is fully operational! Access to the data will be granted on an annual subscription basis at a cost of $300 per year. State development agencies will be able to update their incentive information AT ANY TIME, and as often as they need to. This means that states will not have to wait two years to get their latest and greatest business incentives into the Directory, and users will be able to see up to date info, year round.
All of the familiar incentives data will be in the new online edition.
We are offering some incentives of our own for early adopters and to state agencies that assist in updating their data. Please contact us for more information on how to subscribe and to find out more about incentive discounts.

Directory of Incentives Summary
The 2006 Edition of the Directory of Incentives for Business Investment and Development in the United States: A State
by State Guide, is a current update of this unique database. Published periodically for the past twenty years, this new version
is published on CD ROM. The Directory is now provided as a fully searchable database. The client receives a read-only CD
ROM, with a Readme File Introduction, and the complete database which is in the form of a Windows Access file. Users must
have Microsoft Access 2000 or later in order to view the database.
The Directory has detailed information on the financial incentives available in every state for businesses who invest
in that state. Most incentives have direct impact on the investor's bottom line, although some, such as job training and infrastructure
programs, enhance the investor's position by reducing the costs of doing business in the state, and/or by allowing for increased
productivity. State incentives are available to companies newly locating to a given state, and to those expanding within their
current state of business.
The Directory contains information on a state by state basis concerning programs for businesses such as: loans, loan guarantees,
infrastructure improvement grants, enterprise zones, pollution control incentives, employment tax credits, land and building
loans and tax credits, job training packages, site development support, and venture capital.
The information on each program includes eligible firms, permissible activities, terms and conditions, parameters on the
the size of the incentive, and contact information.
